Vinegar has been employed hundreds of years ago by equerries and horsemen in many ways: to strengthen heavily stressed horses, as a disinfectant, against flies and coughs - also depending on the herbs added.
Doktorenhof horse vinegar - EquiAcetum - is being naturally fermented from finest wines over a long period of time in old oak barrels. By adding traditional herbs such as peppermint, elder blossoms, buckhorn plantain, verbena, malvia and licorice the natural desire of the horse in relation to basic nutrition and the physiolocigal characters of plants ad vinegar are being served.
Vinegar as a natural product is not pasteurized and thus keeps the natural active components of the added plants.The well-being of the horse can so be supported signifiantly.
